![]() ![]() ![]() Maybe while the trans is apart you could swap some stuff inside to make it work right with the electric speedo, but I don't know cause I never did it. I think if you do that setup you also have to figure something out for the speedo because the truck uses a cable and the bird uses electric. The bell housing is part of the case on the M5R2, so you would need to use the F150 case with the SC internals and the SC tail shaft. What you would have to do for the M5R2 trans would be to get one out of an SC and one out of a 4.6L F150 truck. Either you can use the T45, which bolts up to the motor just fine, but leaves you to deal with the shifter extension and fabbing up a hydraulic clutch setup, or you can do an M5R2 from an SC which puts the shifter in the right place, but doesn't bolt up to the 4.6. You basically have 2 options for a manual trans that won't cost you a fortune. ![]()
